Is there a constraint on the maximum part size which can be 3D printed?

Yes, each 3D printer has its own maximum build volume specification. You may learn about the various maximum build volume specifications at Fabforma out here. If a part is exceeding the size of the printing chamber, we can always section the 3D model and then bond the sectioned parts together post printing. For large assemblies, it is always advisable to submit the model to us as individual parts, rather than the assembly model itself. This allows us the freedom to print each assembly part in an optimum manner and it also brings down the overall printing costs for your project. Also, a model which is exceeding the maximum build volume of the printer may be printed successfully (at the same scale) if the model is submitted to us as an assembly of parts. However, for such assemblies, please limit the number of individual parts to a reasonable number.
